Heather is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Licensed Acupuncturist in Pennsylvania. She was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley, PA. She attended Lehigh University where she graduated with a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Religious Studies (Eastern Religion). Healing has always been a goal of Heather's. Whether it be working with mental health or the developmentally disabled, helping others has been a passion of hers. Prior to embarking on her career as an acupuncturist Heather provided family therapy to families in the juvenile justice system as well as supervising at a clinic in New York City that provided clinical services to adults with developmental disabilites.
In an effort to further her goal of healing others, Heather sought a career in acupuncture. She went on to receive her M.S. in Acupuncture from Tri-State College of Acupuncture, in New York City. She received extensive training in 3 styles of acupuncture including Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture Physical Medicine, and KM Japanese Style acupuncture. Heather was taught directly by Master practitioners and the founders of Acupuncture Physical Medicine, and KM style acupuncture. She decided to further her acupuncture education by obtaining her Doctorate of Acupuncture from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Heather has also received a certificate in Oncology Acupuncture from Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital in New York City.
