Dr. Heather grew up in the Lehigh Valley, PA and attended Lehigh University for her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Religion Studies. She always knew she wanted to help others. She started her adult life working in social services. When she was in her mid 20s she made the decision to combine her love of helping people with her interest in eastern philosophy. Attending Tri-State College of Acupuncture for her M.S. in Acupuncture, allowed Dr. Heather to do just that. She moved back to the Lehigh Valley and started her acupuncture practice. After several years in practice, she went on to finish her Doctorate in Acupuncture with Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (now Pacific College of Health Sciences).
Dr. Heather focuses her practice on women's health, as she herself experienced the challenges of health care as a middle age woman. Her practice is not limited to women, don't worry she sees Men too. She practices an array of acupuncture techniques, specializing in Trigger Point Acupuncture (Referred to as Dry Needling by non-acupuncture professions).
She is a certified menopause specialist, and a certified oncology acupuncturist.
She lives in Saylorsburg, PA with her husband and two wonderful German Shepherds. Dr. Heather is a twin. You may see her sister Holly at the Bethlehem office keeping her company.
